Ingredients

  • 250 ml orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 3 carnation (s)
  • 3 cardamom pods
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 allspice grain
  • 1 orange (s), organic, the peel
  • 150 g cane suar

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a saucepan and reduce to a syrupy level over low heat for about 15 minutes. Pass the syrup through a fine sieve and pour into a suitable bottle. Store in a cool and dark area.
  2. Note: Great for spicing up mulled wine, punch or as a quick sauce with crepe or pancakes.
