Ingredients

  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 avocado (s)
  • 3 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 5 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 100 ml water
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon spice mixture (za`atar) or thyme
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. First grind the sesame seeds finely in a blender. Halve the avocado, remove the stone and remove the pulp with a spoon.
  2. Put the pulp and the remaining ingredients in the blender and mix until the spread has a creamy consistency. Season to taste with spices, salt and pepper.
  3. Tastes delicious as a spread, for dipping with raw vegetables or as an accompaniment to grilled food.
