Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef goulash
  • 300 g onion (s)
  • 3 tablespoon harissa
  • 1 chilli pepper (s), fresh
  • 400 ml coconut milk
  • 200 ml water
  • 1 handful roasted peanuts or teaspoon peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil
  • 1 lemon (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch (s) coconut blossom sugar, optional

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the onions and fry them in a pan in a little coconut oil. Remove the cubes from the pan and set aside.
  2. Gradually sear the beef. After frying, put the meat, onions, chilli and harissa in a saucepan, deglaze with water and fill up with the coconut milk. Season with salt and pepper and simmer for about 60 - 90 minutes. Add a little coconut blossom sugar if you like.
  3. Arrange the finished dish on a plate and serve with a little lemon juice and the peanuts.
  4. Tip: Potatoes, rice or dumplings go well with the goulash.
  5. This dish is ideal when guests announce themselves. You have something extraordinary and can only take care of the guests.
