Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 320 ml buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon apple syrup
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 2 tablespoon rapeseed oil or liquid butter
  • some oil for frying
  • possibly fruit and yoghurt, optional
  • extra apple syrup

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour with the baking soda in a large bowl. Add buttermilk, apple syrup, egg and oil or butter and mix well for at least 2 minutes.
  2. Heat a pan with a little oil. Put the batter into the pan with a tablespoon and gently fry the pancakes on both sides.
  3. Caution: The pan must not be too hot.
  4. Serve with a little apple syrup and optionally with fresh fruit and a dollop of yoghurt.
