Paprika-cream Schnitzel

Instructions

  1. Cut the onion into fine cubes. Wash the peppers and cut into fine strips. Sauté the onion in a little oil in a pan until translucent. Add the paprika to the onions, fry for 5 minutes and season with a little paprika powder, salt and pepper. Pour on the cream and season well with paprika powder, the sauce needs to be really nice and orange. Add half a stock cube and let it boil down. Try and possibly add stock cubes. Simmer on a low level for approx. 15 minutes. I still thicken the sauce a bit, but it`s a matter of taste.
  2. In the meantime, wash the schnitzel, salt and pepper, bread and fry and serve on plates with the sauce.
  3. I always make spaetzle, it tastes great.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
