Ingredients

  • 300 g round beef
  • 500 g potato (s)
  • 2 red pepper (s)
  • 1 liter meat broth or vegetable broth
  • 1 small Can sauerkraut
  • 2 onions)
  • 1 clove garlic,
  • 1 tablespoon paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds, ground or whole
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 250 ml sour cream
  • 1 bunch parsley

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes, core the peppers and cut both into cubes. Peel, halve and slice the onions.
  2. Fry the peppers, potatoes and onions briefly but vigorously in the oil. Add paprika powder, sugar and caraway seeds and fry briefly.
  3. Pour in the broth. Add the sauerkraut. Cook until the potatoes are done (about 20 minutes).
  4. Sear the minced beef until it is hot and crumbly, season well, add to the soup.
  5. Finely chop the parsley and mix with the sour cream. Put a blob in each plate before serving.
