Instructions

  1. Warm up the milk. Put the flour in a bowl and make a well in the middle. Crumble in the yeast and add sugar and a little water. Mix everything carefully with a fork and let stand for about 10 minutes.
  2. Then add salt, milk, cream cheese and the rest of the water. Process the ingredients into a dough with the dough hook of the hand mixer. Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place until it has increased its volume significantly.
  3. Dust the dough lightly with flour, take it out of the bowl, knead again well with your hands on a lightly floured work surface and shape into a roll. Divide the rolling pin into 10 equal portions and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper with a little space between them to form a wreath.
  4. Cover and let rise again in a warm place until the dough pieces have enlarged significantly. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 180 °.
  5. Brush the rolls with milk, put them in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  6. Tip: knead a finely diced red pepper under the dough.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
