Ingredients

  • 4 pear (s)
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s) organic, grated zest and juice
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 40 grams sugar
  • 50 grams flour
  • liter ⅛ milk
  • 1 ginger, the size a walnut, finely grated
  • some butter for the baking dish
  • 100 g walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  2. Peel the pears, quarter them, cut into thin slices and drizzle with the lemon juice.
  3. Beat the eggs with the sugar until frothy, stir in the flour, milk, lemon zest and ginger. Fold in the pear slices.
  4. Grease a flat baking dish well with butter. Add half of the walnuts, sprinkle the batter on top and the rest of the walnuts as the top layer.
  5. Bake in the middle of the oven for about 35 minutes.
  6. Serve the casserole sprinkled with powdered sugar. If you like, you can also mix the powdered sugar with cinnamon.
