Ingredients

  • 500 g pear (s)
  • 250 ml water
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 1 stick cinnamon, (alternatively teaspoon cinnamon powder)
  • 3 carnation (s)
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. First peel, quarter and cut the pears into small pieces. Then bring the water with the sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon stick and cloves to a boil.
  2. Add the pears and bring to the boil again and simmer for about 10 minutes. Finally add the lemon juice and chill the compote.
