Ingredients
Pearl barley – 1 glass
Tomato – 1 pc.
Carrots – 1 pc.
Bulb onions – 2 pcs.
Sunflower oil – 3 tablespoon.
Fine salt
Water – 5 glasses
Directions
Rinse the pearl barley well. Boil 3 cups of water in a saucepan and add cereal. Let it simmer for 10 minutes. After that, fold the cereal in a colander and drain.
Pour 2 cups of water into a saucepan, add salt. When the water boils, add the cereal, close the lid, and cook over low heat until thickened.
Chop carrots, onions, tomatoes. Simmer for 10 minutes under a lid in vegetable oil.
Then add our pearl barley to the vegetables and simmer for another 5 minutes.
