Instructions

  1. Peel, core and quarter the pears. Depending on how ripe they are, steam them for another 2 - 6 minutes (e.g. in the microwave).
  2. Wrap a pear quarter with a slice of bacon and pin it with a toothpick. Heat the butter in a coated pan. Add the pears and fry for 1 to 2 minutes on each side. Serve warm or lukewarm.
  3. Other amuse gueule go well with this, you can compose a nice starter plate. Or you can serve lamb`s lettuce with a dark balsamic dressing or you can only serve the pieces as an appetizer in front of a course meal or at the buffet.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
