Ingredients

  • 3 bell peppers, red, green or yellow
  • 1 packet tomato (s), cut into pieces (or can)
  • 3 tomato (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • Tomato paste
  • Vegetable broth
  • 150 g cream (or more, dependin on your taste)
  • 1 can tuna
  • Margarine, butter or oil
  • sugar
  • Paprika powder, (noble sweet and hot pink)
  • water
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash the peppers and tomatoes and cut them into pieces.
  2. Chop the onion and the garlic as well.
  3. Fry the onion and garlic (do not let them brown), then take them out of the pot.
  4. Fry the pepper and tomato pieces, then deglaze with approx. 200-250ml water. Add the onion and garlic pieces, as well as the canned tomatoes.
  5. Season with broth, depending on your taste.
  6. Simmer for about 15 minutes until the pepper pieces are no longer hard. Then mix well with the hand blender, IMPORTANT! Add tomato paste.
  7. Then add a little more water and season with pepper, salt and paprika powder.
  8. Very important: you also need 1-2 teaspoons of sugar!
  9. Finally the cream and then the tuna delicious !!
  10. The sauce tastes best the next day when it is well drained in the refrigerator!
  11. Noodles, dumplings, potatoes or rice go well with this.
  12. If you don`t like tuna it tastes very good without!
