Ingredients

  • 200 g pine nuts
  • 200 g parmesan cheese
  • 2 pots basil
  • Garlic
  • 1 small chilli pepper (s), dried
  • some sea salt
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. Toast the pine nuts in a pan without fat until golden yellow. Put the remaining ingredients in a tall blender jar and puree them finely. Add the cooled pine nuts and puree them finely. Add enough olive oil until the pesto is creamy. It can`t be liquid.
  2. If you want to eat the pesto on pasta, mix the pesto with a little pasta water and then toss the pasta in it. It is also suitable as a spread on bread and as a dip for grilling.
