Ingredients

  • 3 medium pear (s), not quite ripe
  • 500 g plum (s)
  • 250 g rock suar
  • 1 pinch cinnamon powder
  • 1 bottle red wine, dry

Instructions

  1. Peel and core the pears. Cut into quarters and divide again. The plums can be pitted, but you don`t have to. If the stone is difficult to remove, just prick it with a fork.
  2. Then mix the red wine with sugar and cinnamon and heat so that the sugar dissolves. Then add the fruit and bring to the boil briefly.
  3. Fill immediately into screw-top jars. Tastes good with game or sweets, e.g., ice cream, rice pudding and semolina.
