Plum cake with chocolate is both richly chocolate and richly fruity. The combination of sweet dough with chocolate and the sourness of plums will not leave you indifferent.

Ingredients
Plums – 500 g
Starch – 1 tbsp
For light dough:
Wheat flour – 200 g
Butter – 120 g
Egg – 1 pc.
Baking powder – 1 teaspoon.
For chocolate dough:
Dark chocolate – 120 g
Butter – 60 g
Sugar – 1 tbsp
Flour – 2 tbsp
Eggs – 2 pcs.
Baking powder – 1/2 teaspoon.
For Streisel:
Flour – 100 g
Sugar – 80 g
Butter – 60 g
Directions
Sift flour into a bowl, stir with baking powder.
Cut the butter soft butter into small cubes, grind it with flour until smooth.
Stir in the egg.
Knead the dough until smooth and not sticky to your hands. Wrap the dough in a bag and put it in the freezer.
For the chocolate dough, melt the butter and chocolate chunks in a water bath. Add sugar, stir and leave to cool for 15-20 minutes.
Stir in eggs, baking powder and flour.
The dough should be viscous and thick.
For streusel, stir soft but not melted butter with sugar and flour.
Cover the form with parchment. Remove the dough from the freezer, grate it with a coarse grater. And, without tamping, spread over the entire bottom of the baking dish. I have a form measuring 20×30 cm.
Place the chocolate dough on top of the shortbread dough and smooth.
Cut the plums in half and remove the seeds. Dip the cut into the starch and place most of the cut over the chocolate dough. Place the plum pie in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
Get out the cake. Sprinkle with streusel crumbs.
Place the rest of the plums on the cake, dipping them in the starch as well.
Place the chocolate plum cake in the oven and bake until tender, about 30-40 minutes.
The plum cake with chocolate is ready. Let it cool on a wire rack and serve.
