Ingredients

  • 4 fish fillet (s) (saithe) approx. 200 g each
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • salt
  • 100 g peanuts, unsalted
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ thyme
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 4 tablespoon oil
  • Pepper, whiter
  • Lemon (s) - slices
  • Dill, some stalks it

Instructions

  1. Drizzle the pollack fillets with a little lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. Finely grind the peanuts, then place on a deep plate. Squeeze and mix the garlic. Season the mixture with cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper. Whisk the eggs in a second deep plate. First pull the fish fillets through the egg mixture, then turn them in the peanut mixture and press the breading firmly.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the fish fillets for a total of 6-8 minutes until golden brown, turning once.
  3. Spread the fried fish pieces on plates and serve decorated with lemon wedges and dill stalks.
  4. A mixed salad and white wine go well with it.
