Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 200 g potatoes, floury boilin
  • 200 g dumplin bread
  • 200 g cheese e.., Berkäse or Emmentaler
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 125 ml milk
  • 2 onions)
  • salt and pepper
  • some nutmeg
  • some marjoram, rubbed
  • Oil for frying
  • Butter for frying

For the dip:

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon herbs, frozen, e.g., 8 herbs mix
  • some salt and pepper

Also:

  • 125 g lettuce, mixed

For the dressing:

  • 0.5 ½ orange (s)
  • 1 teaspoon mustard, sweeter
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, lighter
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes, let them cool down briefly and grate them roughly.
  2. Cut the cheese into small cubes.
  3. Chop the onions, roast them and let them cool.
  4. Soak the dumpling bread with eggs and milk. If the mixture is too dry, add a little milk. Then add the remaining ingredients and form patties out of them.
  5. Then fry them in an oil and butter mixture. They are perfect if you sear them for 1 - 2 minutes on full energy and then fry them to about 2/3 (medium to higher energy) until they are nice and crispy.
  6. The herb sauce dip and lettuce mix are ideal as a side dish.
  7. For the dip, squeeze the garlic clove and stir all the ingredients.
  8. For the salad dressing, squeeze half the orange and mix with the other ingredients.
