Potato Casserole β€œA la tartiflette”

It’s hard to refuse such a casserole πŸ™‚ As they say, you will lick your fingers.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 800 g
  • Lard – 50 g
  • Salami – 100 g
  • Cream – 140 ml
  • Bulb onions – 1-2 pcs.
  • Cheese – 250 g
  • Greens to taste
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Peel and wash potatoes. Cut into slices 7-10 mm thick. Boil in boiling salted water (8-10 minutes).
  2. Discard potatoes in a colander. Turn on the oven (preheat to 220 degrees) Cut the bacon into cubes.
  3. Peel and wash the onions. Cut into cubes. Cut the salami into thin strips.
  4. Preheat a frying pan, add bacon. Fry, stirring occasionally, for 3-4 minutes, over medium heat.
  5. Add onion. Fry everything together, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
  6. Lubricate the mold with oil. Layout a layer of potatoes. Sprinkle with onions and cracklings. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Grate the cheese. Layout a layer of cheese and sausage. Layout a layer of potatoes. Add a couple of tablespoons of water to the cream, stir.
  8. Pour cream over everything. Place in the oven on the middle shelf. Bake at 220 degrees for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let the potato casserole stand for 5 minutes, sprinkle with herbs. The potato casserole is ready.
