Ingredients

  • 300 grams flour
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 0.5 ½ bottle bitter almond flavor
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 50 g butter
  • 250 g potato (s), boiled
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 150 g marzipan
  • 150 g apricot jam
  • 1 egg yolk
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, softened butter, egg and bitter almond flavor with the dough hook until a smooth dough is formed. (possibly add some water).
  2. Then press the cold potatoes through a potato press and knead under the dough. Roll out the dough approx. 0.5 cm thick into a round plate (approx. 40 cm) and cut into 12 pieces like a cake. Put some marzipan and apricot jam on the wide end of these triangles. Roll up into croissants. Tip up and brush with egg yolk.
  3. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. In the preheated oven approx. 170-200 degrees. Bake for about 20 minutes. Possibly Dust with powdered sugar.
