Ingredients

  • 4 apples
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 250 ml apple juice
  • 800 g potato (s)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 3 tablespoon flour
  • 3 tablespoon oat flakes, crunchy
  • salt
  • some oil

Instructions

  1. Peel and quarter the apples. Core, dice and cook gently with the cinnamon stick and the sugar in the apple juice for about 10-15 minutes.
  2. Peel the potatoes and peel the onion. Grate both finely in a food processor. Stir in eggs, flour and oat flakes and season with salt.
  3. Let a waffle iron get hot, brush with a little oil and bake one after the other from the batter for approx. 6-8 waffles for 10-12 minutes each.
  4. Serve with the apple compote.
  5. Add cinnamon and sugar.
