Cut the onions into small cubes and the garlic into fine flakes. Cut the potatoes into small cubes. Then let the oil warm up in a saucepan, sauté all 3 ingredients briefly and season with plenty of paprika. Then add the water, bouillon and salt and bring to the boil. Then reduce the heat to very low and let the soup steep for about 1.5 hours. Depending on your taste, add seasoning. Drain the peas about 5 minutes before the end and add, bring the soup to the boil again. Then take it off the stove and let it rest for about 10 minutes. The result is a creamy soup.
Tip: So that there is a whole meal, you can add sausages with them or seared bacon.
