Potato Pies with Sausages and Herbs

Very tasty and easy-to-prepare potato zrazy pies stuffed with sausages and herbs. My capricious pets ate them instantly!

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 5-6 pcs.
  • Chicken egg – 1 pc.
  • Nutmeg – to taste
  • Ground white pepper – to taste
  • Flour – 2-4 tbsp (with a slide)
  • Vegetable oil – for frying

    For filling:

  • Homemade sausages (or minced meat) – 200 g
  • Greens – 1 large bunch
  • Hard cheese – 50 g
  • Bulb onions – 1/2 pc.
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Fry chopped onion and chopped sausages (or minced meat) in vegetable oil.
  2. Add chopped herbs. Season with salt and simmer until the herbs are soft, about 10-15 minutes. Add grated cheese (optional).
  3. Boil potatoes in their skins until tender. Then turn the potatoes into mashed potatoes. Add egg, spices and mix well.
  4. Add some flour and mix again.
  5. Put a small amount of potato mass on the palm, and the filling on it.
  6. Form cutlet patties. To facilitate the process, hands should be moistened with water.
  7. Preheat a frying pan. Fry potato pies on both sides in vegetable oil.
  8. Place on paper towels to remove excess oil.
