Ingredients

  • 16 shrimp (s) (king prawns)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 chilli pepper (s)
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • 0.5 ½ bunch thyme
  • 4 tablespoon oil (olive oil)
  • 1 can tomato (s), peeled (800 g)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp, remove the peel. Peel the garlic and cut into thin slices.
  2. Cut the chilli into fine rings. Clean the herbs and pluck off needles or leaves.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan. Fry all the prepared ingredients in it over a mild heat.
  4. Remove the prawns and keep warm.
  5. Drain the tomatoes, chop them roughly and add to the pan. Let simmer for about 10 minutes.
  6. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  7. Arrange the garlic tomato sauce with the prawns on plates.
  8. You can also use fresh tomatoes.
