Prunes Stuffed with Nuts, in Wine

How about a sweet one? I will suggest prunes stuffed with walnuts – it’s delicious. Check?

Ingredients

  • Prunes – 500 g
  • Sugar – 0.75 cups
  • Peeled walnuts – 3 cups
  • Dry red wine – 0.5-1 glass
  • Sour cream – to taste

Directions

  1. Wash the prunes well, soak in warm water. Remove pits from prunes. Peel the walnuts. Divide the walnuts into halves, carefully fill each plum with a nut. Put the prepared plums in a saucepan. Sprinkle the plums with sugar to taste.
  2. Pour red dry wine over the plums so that they are slightly covered with wine. Put the pan on a low heat. Boil. Then cover and simmer the prunes stuffed with nuts over the lowest heat for 30-40 minutes.
  3. Remove plums from heat. Cool and let it brew in a cold place for 4-6 hours. Prunes stuffed with nuts, ready in wine. Serve plums with sour cream.
