Ingredients

  • 1 packet Mie noodles
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • 1 handful vegetables, e.g., zucchini or carrots
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 1 small clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ wok spice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled corn starch
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ rice vinegar
  • 1 dash water
  • salt and pepper
  • sesame

Instructions

  1. This recipe goes super fast and is therefore ideal if you don`t feel like cooking big or want to use leftover vegetables.
  2. Boil Mie noodles in salted water and cut the vegetables into 1 - 2 cm pieces. Heat 1 tablespoon of peanut oil in a wok and sear the vegetables. Add the finely chopped garlic.
  3. For the sauce, mix the following ingredients in a separate container: soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, pepper, wok spice, cornstarch and 1 small dash of water
  4. Mix the vegetables, sauce and noodles in the wok until the sauce thickens. Arrange and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  5. A little tip: I always use a small glass with a screw cap to mix the sauce. So you just have to put the ingredients in the glass, close the lid and shake. Also works well with dressings.
