Ingredients

  • 100 g Spaetzle (Swabian Knöpfle)
  • 1 small onion (s), finely diced
  • 1 clove (s) garlic, pressed
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 150 ml tomatoes, chunky
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
  • 350 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 tablespoon oregano, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the knöpfle according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Heat the oil in a saucepan and steam the onion in it, add the garlic and paprika powder. Stir in the tomatoes and the stock, bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 3 - 4 minutes. Add the separated buttons and warm them well for 2 - 3 minutes.
  3. Season to taste with pepper and salt, sprinkle with oregano (if necessary, marjoram) and serve hot. Possibly add sour cream and baguette.
