Ingredients

  • 2 quince (s), peeled and cut into small pieces
  • 1 apple, aromatic, peeled and cut into small pieces
  • 100 g suar, brown
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), untreated, some it zest and juice
  • 250 ml juice, (quince juice, apple juice may also work)
  • 1 tablespoon, leveled spice mixture (apple pie spice)
  • 0.5 piece ½ (s) vanilla pod (s), scraped off

Instructions

  1. Let the brown sugar melt in the saucepan, deglaze with the quince juice (or apple juice).
  2. Add the spices and the chopped fruits and let them soften well, this takes at least 15 minutes.
  3. Then pass through a fine sieve (because of the grains in the quince) and refrigerate.
  4. To serve, cut off small dumplings and arrange quark mousse together with a dough on plates.
