Ingredients

  • 900 g flour, type 550
  • 2 packs dry yeast
  • 500 ml milk
  • 80 g suar
  • 80 g butter
  • 6 grams salt
  • 150 g raisins
  • 50 g lemon peel
  • 100 g hazelnuts, whole

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the butter and add the milk, knead both with the flour, sugar and salt and the yeast to a firm dough (works best with a food processor). Finally, knead in the raisins, lemon peel and nuts. Let it rise for a good 1 hour in a warm place (I always put it in the oven at 50 degrees).
  2. Then knead again and put in a greased bread or box cake tin. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top / bottom heat and bake the bread for about 40-45 minutes.
