Ingredients

  • 1 kg white cabbage
  • 1 onion (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Balsamic vinegar, whiter
  • Caraway seed
  • Oil (sunflower or rapeseed oil)

Instructions

  1. Finely slice the white cabbage, sprinkle with salt and knead with both hands until the juice comes out and the cabbage is really moist, pepper, add caraway seeds (possibly as a powder), onion cubes, vinegar to taste and plenty of oil.
  2. The raw coleslaw can still be changed, e.g. mix 2-3 raw finely grated carrots in it, or red or green paprika strips.
  3. We like to go with breaded sheep`s cheese and small meatballs. But it also tastes excellent with roast pork and ensures good fat digestion.
