Ingredients

  • 250 g onion (s), diced
  • 2 clove (s) garlic, chopped
  • 2 chilli pepper (s), red, seeded and diced
  • 1 kg red pepper (s), cut into slightly thicker strips
  • 1 large can (s) tomato (s), diced, drained
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • Pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 small Can / s tomato paste
  • oregano
  • Thyme

Instructions

  1. Sauté the onions, garlic, chilli and bay leaves in olive oil. Add the paprika pieces, season with salt and pepper and stir-fry for about 5 minutes. Stir in the tomato pieces and tomato paste. Cover the pan and stew for approx. 30 minutes. Shortly before the end of cooking, season to taste with herbs.
  2. Is a delicious side dish, but also tastes great with spaghetti.
