Rice Casserole with Cottage Cheese and Pear

Sweet rice casserole with cottage cheese and pear is a delicious option for breakfast, afternoon tea, or light dinner.

Ingredients

  • Boiled rice – 250 g
  • Cottage cheese – 150 g
  • Pear – 1 pc.
  • Dried cranberries (or raisins) – 1 tbsp
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Sugar – 80 g
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Butter – for greasing the mold

Directions

  1. Prepare foods for a rice casserole with cottage cheese and pear. 
  2. Divide the eggs into whites and yolks. Set the squirrels aside. Combine the yolks with sugar (part of the sugar can be replaced with vanilla sugar).
  3. Beat the yolks with sugar until fluffy. Add cottage cheese. Beat the cottage cheese with the yolks. Put the rice, mix well.
  4. Beat egg whites separately with a pinch of salt until firm peaks. Add whipped egg whites to the mix.
  5. Introduce proteins, gently stirring with a spatula from the bottom to top. Wash the pear and cut it into small pieces.
  6. Add pear and dried cranberries washed with hot water to the curd-rice mass. Mix.
  7. Grease a baking dish (18 cm in diameter). Put the dough into a mold and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
  8. Rice casserole with cottage cheese and pear is ready. You can serve the curd-rice casserole both warm and cold.
