“Rice” from Cauliflower Instructions

  1. Disassemble the cauliflower into inflorescences. Dry the inflorescences with a paper towel. Next, put in a blender bowl and stir the cabbage to the size of rice. The cabbage is soft, it is crushed into the desired size in a matter of seconds. If you do not have a blender, you can easily grate the cabbage.
  2. Cooking cauliflower rice: Chop the onion finely in advance and squeeze the garlic through a press (I like to chop the garlic better in this case). Heat a little of any oil in a frying pan (I took a mixture of vegetables and butter).
Add the onion and garlic to the butter, stir.
  3. Cooking Cauliflower Rice: Then add 1-2 chicken proteins. Fry a little, breaking the protein into small pieces with a spatula.
  4. Cooking Cauliflower Rice: And add the cabbage “rice”! At this point, add salt to taste and your favorite spices (for example nutmeg and Italian herbs). Fry the cabbage, stirring occasionally with a spatula. If you like the so-called al dente taste – fry for 2-3 minutes, and if you want soft and tender – 6 minutes. The fire is below average all the time.

  5. Cooking cauliflower rice: It does not stick at all, very crumbly, fluffy, and juicy.

Important Cooking Tips:
– Do not cover the pan with a lid when frying, otherwise, the cabbage will let the juice out, and instead of crumbly “rice”, you will get slurry.
– Do not add liquids and sauces to cabbage when frying for the same reason. First, prepare the cabbage, but you can already serve any meat with sauce to it.

Enjoy your meal!
