Ingredients

  • 50 g bacon, smoked, finely chopped
  • 1 onion (s), roughly chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, cut into cubes with the garlic mill
  • 1 piece (s) ginger, cut into cubes with a garlic mill
  • 1 leek, cut into rings
  • 250 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce, ketjap manis is better
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 2 cup rice

Instructions

  1. Leave the smoked bacon in a saucepan, sauté the onions until translucent, add the leek, garlic and ginger and sauté for another 5 minutes. Fry the minced meat in it until it is gray.
  2. Stir in the ketjap manis and coconut milk and simmer for approx. 20 minutes.
  3. Top up with 2 cups of rice and 4 cups of water and bring to a boil. Turn off the stove and let the rice soak for another 20 minutes with the lid closed. Needs little salt.
