Ingredients

  • 250 g minced meat, beef or mixed
  • 250 g leek, half slices
  • 4 carrot (s), diced
  • 1 onion (s), diced
  • 1 can mushrooms, slices
  • 250 g rice, boil
  • 1 cup water
  • Oil, for frying
  • Broth, 1-2 tablespoon grained
  • salt
  • pepper
  • parsley
  • chives
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Fry the minced meat until it turns color. Add onions and fry until translucent. Add the leek, carrots and mushrooms and sauté as well. Season, pour in water and simmer with the lid closed on medium heat until the carrots are cooked through.
  2. Now mix in the boiled rice and simmer on a low heat for 10 minutes, stir again in between, adding chopped herbs.
  3. Refine with the butter before eating.
  4. That is the basic recipe, whereby I always use more meat and also more vegetables for the same amount of rice, based on our taste. In the end I don`t save on the butter either, because it just tastes better.
  5. It is also important that it is not a soup. So there shouldn`t be a broth in the pot when it`s done, but more like a rice pan.
