  • 3 large onion (s)
  • 1 kg carrot (s)
  • 1 kg brown rice
  • 5 bay leaves
  • salt and pepper
  • oil
  • 1 liter water

Instructions

  1. Fry the meat in oil in the pan until it is nice and brown. Add the onions. Peel the carrots, grate roughly with the grater and fry with them.
  2. Put everything in a large saucepan. Then fill with 1 liter of water. Add the seasoning, bay leaves and bring to the boil briefly.
  3. Switch down to the lowest stove setting. Add the rice, stir briefly, put the lid on and simmer for 40 minutes.
