Ingredients

  • 1 small broccoli, cut into small florets and halved
  • 2 carrots, sliced or sticks
  • 1 small sweet potato (s), peeled and diced
  • 1 orange (s), (organic), the zest and the juice it
  • 1 clove garlic, finely sliced
  • 1 some chilli pepper (s), freshly cut into thin rings
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly almond flakes (almond slices), if necessary

Instructions

  1. Blanch the sweet potato and carrot cubes in a little boiling salted water for approx. 5-6 minutes and then rinse in cold water.
  2. Fry the broccoli florets in hot olive oil in a wok. Add the chili rings and garlic slices and fry briefly. Add the previously boiled sweet potato and carrot cubes, mix everything well and fry again briefly. Deglaze with the juice of the orange and add the previously finely peeled orange peel. If necessary, season with salt and pepper and serve immediately. If you like, you can also add freshly roasted almond slices at the end.
  3. A chicken breast fillet marinated in soy sauce and ginger or fish fillets go well with it.
