Ingredients

  • 500 g rocket
  • 250 g bacon, cubes
  • 500 g mushrooms, white or brown
  • 5 large onion (s)
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs, dried (e.g. parsley and chives)
  • 1 handful sunflower seeds
  • 200 g cheese, rated
  • Balsamic, light or dark

Instructions

  1. Quarter the mushrooms and cut the onions into large rings. Heat some olive oil in the pan. Fry the onions and diced bacon for 2 minutes over medium heat. Then add the mushrooms. Fry, stirring constantly. Season with pepper, salt and herbs.
  2. After 5 minutes, add the sunflower seeds and fry until the mushrooms are soft. Arrange the rocket on a large, flat plate. Spread the seared meat on the rocket. Cheese and a dash of balsamic vinegar on top (depending on your taste).
  3. Best consumed warm.
