Ingredients

  • 400 g rye flour, whole rain
  • 250 g wheat flour (type 550)
  • 1 sachet dry yeast
  • 1 sachet sourdough extract
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 100 g sunflower seeds
  • 400 ml water, lukewarm

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients with approx. 400 ml lukewarm water and knead into a smooth dough. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes. Knead well and let rise again for 45 minutes.
  2. Shape the dough into a loaf and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for 50 - 60 minutes.
  3. Tip: The bread gets a particularly crust if you put a bowl of hot water in the oven.
