Sago with Honeydew Melon
Sago with Honeydew Melon

Instructions

  1. Let the sago soak in the water for 30 minutes. Then drain the water and boil the sago in water until the pearls are translucent.
  2. Juice half of the melon and cut the other half into small pieces. Reduce the sugar in 1/8 l water to make syrup. If the sago pearls are transparent, drain the water through a fine sieve and quench the pearls with cold water. Then mix the syrup, juice and coconut milk with the sago pearls and bring to the boil again.
  3. Then put in a bowl and add the melon pieces.
  4. Let cool down. It tastes best ice-cold like a good Asian dish.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
