Ingredients

  • 150 g lettuce (e.. rocket and lamb`s lettuce)
  • 3 fig (s)
  • 4 slices goat cheese
  • 250 ml port wine
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • honey
  • salt and pepper
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. Reduce the port wine with the rosemary, salt and pepper. Quarter and peel the figs and simmer for a few minutes with the port wine.
  2. Put enough honey in a pan until the bottom is covered and heat. When the honey bubbles, add the goat cheese slices and fry on both sides until they have turned color.
  3. Make a vinaigrette from the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Now arrange the salad with the figs and the goat cheese on a plate and drizzle with the vinaigrette.
  4. Beef steaks go well with it.
