Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan, add the onions, garlic and peppers and cook for about 2 minutes. Then let it cool down a little and then use the mixer or hand blender to make a cream. Put back in the pot and heat a little more.
  2. Add the tomatoes and the slightly chopped sardines, season with salt, pepper and basil, stir carefully and simmer or simmer for about 5 minutes over low heat. Possibly add some water so that it doesn`t burn.
  3. Very tasty with spaghetti or other pasta.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
