Ingredients

  • 1 kg zucchini, thin
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 6 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
  • 1 large onion (s)

Instructions

  1. Wash the zucchini, halve or quarter if necessary and cut into slices. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Now put the onion cubes and the zucchini with the other ingredients in a bowl with a lid. Now close the bowl with the cover and shake well. Then put in the refrigerator. Shake it every now and then when opening the refrigerator.
  2. Allow to steep for a total of approx. 24 hours before consumption.
  3. Tips: The onion can also be added sliced. The advantage of this is that you can sort them out again before consuming them.
  4. Add dill, hot peppers or garlic, depending on your taste.
