- 200 g cooked ham, wafer-thin (butcher ham)
- 2 onions)
- 100 ml sunflower oil or rapeseed oil
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 50 ml water
- Black pepper from the mill
- 1 tablespoon sugar

- Cut the butcher`s ham into thin strips and the onions into wafer-thin rings. Mix a brew from the remaining ingredients. Layer the butcher`s ham and onions in a container and pour the stock over them.
- Let everything soak for at least 24 hours. Then pour off the brew.
- Perfect on bread, rolls or baguettes.
