Ingredients

  • 200 g cooked ham, wafer-thin (butcher ham)
  • 2 onions)
  • 100 ml sunflower oil or rapeseed oil
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 50 ml water
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Cut the butcher`s ham into thin strips and the onions into wafer-thin rings. Mix a brew from the remaining ingredients. Layer the butcher`s ham and onions in a container and pour the stock over them.
  2. Let everything soak for at least 24 hours. Then pour off the brew.
  3. Perfect on bread, rolls or baguettes.
