Ingredients

  • 6 jacket potato (s), boiled, diced
  • 6 onion (s), finely diced
  • 6 apples, peeled and diced
  • 6 gherkin (s), finely diced
  • 6 hard-boiled egg (s), diced
  • 6 tablespoon salmon substitute (smoked saithe schnitzel)
  • 300 ml salad cream (Miracel Whip)
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

  1. Mix the prepared ingredients in a bowl and let steep in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours.
  2. If the salad is too dry, a little hot water can be added.
  3. Since the salmon substitute gives a spicy note and the salad never tastes like fish, it is a salad with a kick and is definitely recommended for meat and sausages during the barbecue season.
