Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 20 g yeast, fresh
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled salt
  • 200 g low-fat quark
  • 75 ml water, lukewarm
  • Milk, for brushing
  • Sesame, poppy seeds, possibly caraway seeds, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Sieve the flour into a bowl and make a well in the middle. Mix the yeast with water and sugar and pour into the hollow. Mix the yeast water with a little flour from the edge and cover the dough and let rise for about 10 minutes. Then add the vanilla sugar, salt and the quark and work everything into a smooth dough. Cover and let rise until the volume has visibly increased.
