Ingredients

  • 200 g smoked tofu
  • 1 sachet rice or 2 port. loose rice
  • Salt water
  • 1 beefsteak tomato (s)
  • 1 zucchini
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • some water
  • 1 handful herbs (parsley, dill, chervil, chives, etc.)
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable stock
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice in salted water according to the instructions on the packet. Meanwhile, cut the tofu, tomato and zucchini into small pieces.
  2. Now put the oil in the pan, let it get hot and add the tofu. Now put the garlic in the pan using a garlic press. Fry everything briefly. In the meantime, mix the tomato paste with a little water, vegetable stock and herbs in a small cup.
  3. Now add the tomato and zucchini to the pan and continue steaming everything. Just before the rice is ready, add the contents of the cup to the pan, add a little salt and pepper and heat everything in the pan until the rice is ready.
