Instructions

  1. Soak the soy cubes in the broth for 4 - 5 hours.
  2. Cut the onions and peppers into strips or rings and fry them until they are hot. Add tomato paste, herbs and all the spices, add half of the soaking stock, bring to the boil and reduce by approx. 30%. Now add the rest of the broth with the soy cubes and cook covered for 60 minutes at a gentle simmer. Finally, bind with a little potato flour. (You can also cook 3 - 4 potatoes in cubes right from the start.)
  3. Potato or bread dumplings, salad or red cabbage go well with it.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
