Instructions

  1. First mix the dry ingredients well, then fold in the quark and yoghurt and finally the grated carrots. Only now pour in the water. The dough needs to stay tough and sticky. Mix everything well with the food processor and kneading spiral.
  2. Preheat the oven to 220 ° C.
  3. Grease a rectangular cake tin well and sprinkle breadcrumbs into it. Pour in the dough and pull through briefly lengthways with the knife. Place the mold on a wire shelf, 2nd rail from the bottom. First bake for 10 minutes at 220 ° C with top / bottom heat, then turn down the temperature and bake for another 50 minutes at medium heat, approx. 170 - 180 ° C. Please check the bread from time to time. It should slowly turn a nice brown.
  4. After baking, let it cool down a bit and carefully remove it from the pan.
  5. Tip: If the bread is still a little damp at the bottom, do it again without the baking pan
  6. Put in the oven at approx. 160 ° C for 10 minutes, then it will be nice and crispy on all sides.
