Ingredients

  • 500 g beef fillet (s)
  • 4 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon oil, (sesame oil)
  • 1 chilli pepper (s), pitted, in thin rings
  • 1 vegetable onion (s), peeled and cut into rings
  • 1 stalk / e lemongrass, (alternatively the finely chopped from the glass or frozen)
  • 3 tomato (s), peeled and diced (alternatively a small can)
  • some curry
  • some chili powder
  • some ginger, grated
  • some oil, for frying
  • 1 stalk / e lemongrass, for the rice
  • 250 g rice

Instructions

  1. Mix the soy sauce, oil, chilli pepper, curry and ginger together. Marinate the chopped beef in it for at least 30 minutes and then fry in hot oil.
  2. Tie the lemongrass together (so that it does not fray) and beat the ends so that the aroma develops better.
  3. Remove the meat from the pan / wok and fry the lemongrass with the onion.
  4. When the latter is golden brown, add the tomatoes and sauté as well. Add the meat again and let it steep for a short time.
  5. Cook rice with lemongrass and refine the chili powder.
  6. Remove lemongrass and serve.
