Ingredients
- 1 papaya, ripe but still firm, about 200 g
- 200 g pineapple, fresh
- 200 g celery
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar, or rice vinegar
- 3 tablespoon mayonnaise (salad)
- 1 chilli pepper (Thai), red
- 2 spring onion (s)
- possibly salt

- The papaya is quartered lengthways, the black seeds and the mushy interior are scraped out. Then it is cut into cubes 1.5 to 2 centimeters in size. The pineapple is diced the same size, the celery stalks are cut into pieces 1 to 2 centimeters wide. The chilli pepper is cut open and the kernels are removed. Then you cut them into very fine strips. It is stirred together with the vinegar and mayonnaise and spread over the salad mixture. The salad should sit for at least an hour or two before serving.
- It looks very nice and colorful and goes well with a buffet with Asian dishes.
